We aren't going to win a title without a massive increase in spending unfortunately, nothing to indicate we will do that

Yep. My anger earlier was partly misdirected at Unai. Fact is we need heavy investment and this American prick is holding us back. Which more fans would make a stand. I’ve sold my season ticket this year and hope more will do the same

Tbh with the amount teams are spending even like west ham, everton and wolves, we could go further backwards

It's not all about spending but it is crazy that West Ham have just broken our 2017 transfer record (i.e. pre laca) 1 year later.

Splashing the cash too much usually results in big flops, we just need to be the best in the transfer market and hopefully in a couple of years the chips will fall our way and we fluke a Coutinho or Mbappe.

Teams that spend the most usually win the league in every league, of course you can balls big spending up but we def need to up our spending if we are going to win a title

Wenger went unbeaten after signing one player (Lehmann) in the summer.

Those days. :(

There was a time when City winning the title was okay-ish. Today, I don't even know. They're all as bad as each other. If we don't win it, I hope Newcastle Benitez wins it.

Of course we do but for us, it has to be right every time. We can't do a United or City and buy expensive flops to flog 1 or 2 years later at half the price.

Sensible splashing with investment in youth is our best bet. If the likes of Guendouzi and Mavropanos turn out good then we'll either make a shit load of profit or have 2 good players for next to nothing.

This is the one favourable thing about Tottenham over the rest.

I don’t expect us to win the league while Kroenke is in charge at most we will be in and out of the top 4 each season.

£30,000.00 per share!

I think I recall David Dein saying ought most of his shares in the 1980s for about £200 each.

A significant profit for anyone who got theirs through the fanshare scheme before that was closed by Enos, or indeed held it for generations. But as we know, there is always something intangibly attractive about owning a share in your favourite club
