Tottenham have son and Kane. Goals galore. Bring in richarlison.

We have garbage. Don't need Raphinha apparently

Think Jesus has agreed to join Arsenal as a central striker( if not an out an out CF) . So we have to put a strategy in place to include him centrally.
As far the CM position, unless we can move Torreira or AMN, don't see an opening( doubt if either will be willing to go on loan again other than being sold). We will have squad congestion ( can only include 25 seniors). Bellerin or Cedric needs to be moved on as well; again, squad limitations.
The problem is Bellerin, Torreira and AMN aren't much in demand at all ( Pepe as well), hence the bigger challenge will be to sell any or some of them.
Don't mind if Torreira is absorbed in the mid field and if Bellerin agrees to play second fiddle to Tomi.

People need to get that out of their head.

We're def not now, he's been given the no9 shirt.

With Nketiah and Jesus as our strikers we def need a goal scoring winger now then.

Bellerin, Torreira and AMN will all be gone before window's end. The players' agents aren't in any hurry. They will bide their time, knowing that they can push Edu to accept a loan offer closer to the end of the window.

So far quite underwhelmed on how we’ve spent 87 million and our transfer dealings.

Need to improve our spend a lot from now on, pre-season starting soon as well.

Thats fine regarding Jesus, but what do we do as a plan B ? Cant just go back to slinging in crosses willy nilly for nobody to get on the end of.

So last season we had Auba and Laca, this season looks like just being Jesus, net loss of one forward. Perhaps Arteta isn't good at Maths??

I think he was sent here just to piss us off !

We had a bigger squad then. Wenger also gave minutes to anyone that wasn't injured. Compare that to Arteta who exiled Auba and AMN, let 5 players go in Jan and gave Pepe 1 start after October 2021.

Why we need to sling crosses alone with so many mobile forwards? They can interchange and cut in and head in/ tap in low crosses when required. The absence of a tall CF has to be managed the way ManCity, Berca has done for a long time. Even Liverpool forwards aren't tall so they score from ground open play mostly.
If your speed of movement increases around the box, gaps will automatically open up.
Our problem has been slow buildup by a mediocre midfield which becomes clueless in front of massed defense.

The crossing needs to change. It's been 2 seasons now with Tierney and Martinelli (usually) playing aerial crosses that no one but the defenders can get to.

Assuming GJ plays CF, that's not going to change, as he's short. I pray we try to do more through the middle this season.

Nketiah has been promoted and Balogun will take his place as 3rd option.

Jesus, Nketiah, Balogun

Auba, Lacazette, Nketiah

.......... have we even really strengthend considering Auba is the best finisher of the bunch?

The fact that Nketiah and Jesus are completely different forwards as well tells me we just went for what talent we could land.

......... we need another 2-3 top tier players arriving because all the good ones we're being linked to seem on their way to our rivals ffs.

Window started off looking good but now we're in the pit now, need to pull off a couple more decent signings at least.
