If we sell Pepe for cheap will this be the biggest loss making full of players a manager has ever overseen, literally all of our players either go for nothing or next to nothing, sometimes we even have to pay wages for a while.

Pepe didn't perform for Emery either
He's not worth more than £20m.
Just a bad transfer.

Has the potential to be a super star just needs to be playing for the right man

Emery didn't have a say in the buy, he had to figure out how to fit him in after the fact.

In any case, he was sacked way too early into the season to be able to properly assess him. Pepe still scored 2 FKs against Vitoria to win us the game and top the Europe group.

I think he would have been surpassed by Saka on the left wing regardless.

This is true for a LARGE number of professionals.

Reading between the lines, Raul Sanllehi clearly pulled one over on the Kroenke's to line his or his friends pockets with the Pepe deal. Why do you think he still hasn't found a job? Between this and paying 5M over Torreira's release cause for literally no reason, it's clear he was on the take IMO.

So keep cycling through the managers then until he finds one that he can play well for?
Yeah ok.. or how about we get rid of him because after over 100 games for the club he hasn't done it? Probably the better option.
He doesn't have the potential to be anything other that what he is - a player who is awful for 95% of the time he is on the pitch and a complete liability with the occasional flash of brilliance that is far too rare to be useful over a season.

Jesus and Tielmans and that's our lot ?

LOL.

What about RB and LB ?

Hopefully he means 2 starting signings and then a few squad players.

The depth signings will likely depend on who we can sell. Technically, Arsenal have Bellerin, Saliba, Nelson, Balogun, Maitland-Niles, and Mari coming back. Plus, Trusty (CB) and Turner (GK) joining in June.

Torreira (15M), Guendouzi (9M), Mavropanos (7M) are already agreed fees.

IMO, we need to sell Mari, AMN, and Bellerin from that group.

Jesus, Tielmans, Neves should do it. Probably keep 2 out 5 on loan. Strong young side w/ options. Give others a good run I guess.

The reporting suggests that City are going to pay £110m in wages alone over 4 years to Haaland.
He’ll cost over £250m in total if some reports are to be believed,
No club can afford this without cheating financially.
City or any club who signs him for that outlay need to be audited for financial irregularity.
Especially fake commercial revenue all of a sudden shouting up.
City have cheated this way already and it’s so obvious as to be laughable that they have not been kicked out of the PL. their commercial revenue now rivals Man Utd’s :rofll:

As if.

Someone has to put a stop to these clubs,

Watching this West Ham game and Bowen is everywhere.

Reminds me of Jota. In fact, Klopp was interested in Bowen apparently.

Wouldn't mind him as a number 2 striker plus he can play on the wing.

Bring him to the carpet.

Don't need new players. All arsenal players are better than non arsenal players

It's the new things these days

You sound like Wenger in his later years.

Not all clubs do the bare minimum yet still proclaim to want the maxium.

While we cut corners other teams are willing to break the bank for success, hence why we're not an elite club anymore.

We can't / won't compete ........... and worse, because truth be told I hold no admiration for people who just spend their way to glory, the other method is Klopps way, hard tactics, guts and glory with elite standards.

.......... and we can't even get that bit right, hopefully we edge that way because the City method is not on the cards for us.
