Gabriel Jesus deal close to completion and Arsenal are already slapping down bids to Leeds for Raphinha. Finally operating like a big club.

You can't deny that Arteta has changed the mindset at this club :hail:

If we pull off Jesus, Raphinha and Ajax LB deals, it shows we do have a big club draw for players, dispite not being in CL. They must see the direction we are heading as an upwards one!
Invincibility lies in the defence; the possibility of victory in the attack.

Big clubs aren’t in for Jesus and Raphinha.

They are! Barca want Raphinha.
Jesus I don't know but he is easily good enough for any CL side apart from Liverpool and PSG. He'd walk in to any Italian side

I like Jesus and are glad we are getting him. But that’s because he’s the best we can hope for. He didn’t do well for Brazil or City and no one else seems interested.
As far as Rafinha goes, his agent tried his best to get some buzz going around Barca but there was no offer. I have a feeling he stays at Leeds for another season and then tries to move to Spain.
Neither of them are big signings. At this point all we have is the Brazilian kid and Fabio who’s tidy but again not some big name.

Agreed, if we did manage to get those it would be a good window.

Where does that Raphinha play, is it right midfield, we would be quite stacked for attacking options, Saka plays there as well, I guess it would be the end for Pepe.

We still need a midfielder. Lokonga isnt ready/good enough. F*ck Xhaka we need a starter in the middle of the park alongside Partey.

Just a quick question. £150m last year, possibly the same or even more this season.

Where’s it all coming from? It seems much more than we could spend using a self sustaining model, so are the Kroenke’s finally backing us in the transfer market?

My man Stan has tasted the sweet nector of the Super Bowl, he now wants to suck on the dick of a PL and CL double.

Kroenke is fronting the money, but it's all in loans. Two years ago he bought up over £200m in debt, so instead of repaying the bank that originally issued the loan, the club now repay Stan directly.

Doing to the attack this summer what we did to the defence last summer.

I'm still a bit worried about the midfield though. The gap in quality between Partey-Xhaka and Elneny-Sambi is huge. We'd be an injury away from a shite midfield pairing. Tielemans or someone similar would change that, I'm not convinced that Fabio Vieira does.

So we'll score less than last season seeing as the defence conceded more than the previous season
