@aschultz_15: Arteta and Edu will not be drawn into a bidding war for Raphinha and have walked away from the deal, something that shows they are not messing around this summer.

Well done I say.

No more signings. Give Azeez and Patino a chance in midfield and Hutchinson and Flores a chance on the wings.

HH, RRR, and DG, stop insulting people and accuse them of being trolls just because you happen to disagree with their opinions.

This isn't the first time, either. If you only want to read posts that echo your takes, use the 'add foe' function. Also, Reiss IS NOT jayramfootball.

And Reiss, refrain from the childish remarks.

There are definitely other options but they should move quickly. Plenty of other clubs are making moves.

I swear whenever the club gets praise they implode and bottle things.

Promising start to the window, but now it's looking like an episode of the chuckle brothers starting Mikel and Edu.

If United land both Martinez and Tielemans ...

Manchester United have bettered Arsenal's bid for Lisandro Martinez, offering Ajax £38m for the Argentina centre-back, 24. (Mail on Sunday)

Arsenal and Manchester United are also battling it out to sign Germany winger Serge Gnabry, 26, from Bayern Munich for £40m. The former Gunner is out of contract with Bayern next summer. (Star Sunday)

Manchester United are on "high alert" as Arsenal struggle to agree a deal for Leicester's Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans, 25. (Star Sunday)

Looks like we are against Mancs this summer

If we’d been serious we could have agreed and completed deals for Martinez and Tielemans a while ago, problem is we always drag it out and then end up with other teams coming through in for them.

You guys lap everything up lol, we ain't struggling to agree a deal for Tielemans...we're clearly not that arsed and will go sign him if we can't get anyone better.

Martinez maybe but I doubt United wouldn't have just come in anyway if we'd gotten a bid accepted. There's no real 'move quicker' than another club, just one set of dickheads start the bidding. Utd finding the same now with De Jong and Chelsea. Spurs did all the work on Richarlison only for Chelsea to try last minute to hijack it.

Relax you sweaty cúnts.

Two mid-table outfits battling over two players that none of the top four want - that's the current reality. Both of these players would be good signings but neither are in the top six for their position. Upgrades sure, title winners not so sure.

Rivdan Yilmaz a player we should have signed last summer for buttons is now a Spurs target .... he may prove a bust however it will be another value opportunity blown by our dynamic duo if we once again miss out.
