You can't deny that Arteta has changed the mindset at this club :hail:

Big clubs aren’t in for Jesus and Raphinha.

Lmao you live under a rock mate.

Chelsea and Madrid in for Jesus. As for Raphina, Barca and Chelsea.

:dontknow:

Riiiight and they want to come to Arsenal

Guaranteed starting spot up front and team built around him :dontknow:

...............yeah either that or the £220k pw we've reportedly upped his wages to, which he wouldn't get anywhere near that at any other club?

But it was probably the Europa team we're building around him? yeah that would be it.

Thanks for providing another reason. We were financially the most lucrative package as well then.

So there's two reasons.

Jesus is a good signing. There is no doubt about it. But he’s a good signing for a club at our level. He’s never got more than 20 goals a season and he isn’t even sure of where he’s starting whether it’s wide or center. But fanboys will big him up because their boyfriend signed him.
Anyways, it’s a fair assumption that with time and more freedom he’ll grow into that 20 goal a season striker we need. Fingers crossed.

We've done nothing yet. Fantastic start but all we've done is replaced outgoings and signed backups.

Now it's time to strengthen the starting 11.

2021:
Ramsdale

Tomiyasu -- White -- Gabriel -- Tierney

Partey -- Xhaka

Odegaard

Saka -- Auba -- Martinelli

2022:
Ramsdale

Tomiyasu -- White -- Gabriel -- Tierney

Partey -- Xhaka

Odegaard

Saka -- Jesus -- Martinelli

Well, the first team was pretty good last season ( when fit , of course), but the backups weren't upto the level. So, it is mostly about building depth ( Vieira and...waiting) and replacing out of form/outgoing mainstays( Auba, Laca) with new ones( Jesus).
Look forward to couple more signings and how we dispose of the fringe players or reinstate any of them.
Wouldn't mind reinstating Torreira ( decent option to have) if he cannot be sold, and, send Lokonga on loan.

Several reasons why Jesus has been looked into.
He has mobility, dribble and scoring ability, and is young.
Knows the PL very well.
Has worked with Arteta before.
Wants regular football.
Wants a central role.
And, possibly, work extra hard to achieve something more.

He's under the same expectations as everybody else in the £200k pw retirement packages we've been handing out.

Hopefully he can be more reliable than Partey or Willian have been.

Well we will see, He certainly won't be worse than what we had and we certainly can't continue to be as shit offensively as we were.

Ahead of who ?

The only starter we’ve signed is Jesus and he’s been brought in to replace Auba.

This low key trolling is getting very tiresome.

You obviously don't come here for discussion, just to purely find angles to WUM, its literally in every post you make.

Every post is some snarkey put down, come back or exaggeration.

4-3-3 with Odegard and Partey. Will play the metronome role.
