No no, the MLS is at a higher standard than the French Ligue 1, he will slot straight in and not be a waste of time. He is automatically already better than Saliba.

We'll have to wait to see whether he can cut it at the PL level.
Have my doubts

MLS vs Ligue 1? Hmm, edge to Ligue 1.. but only just.
However, would actually give it to the MLS in terms of competitiveness from best to worst team.

Isn't Bradley Wright Phillips the goat in MLS?

Lol

Teams in Ligue 1 are hot garbage too, with a layer of PSG on top.
But the imbalance is probably bigger.

It would appear that in being the same age as our captain and suitably beyond the rookie stage of his career, if he's able to further develop his game during this stint with the Peaky Blinders, step up to the plate and smash it out of the ball park (the appropriate Americanism I believe), he'll be in line to be brought back into the first team fold for next season with a view to either replace Rob Holding full stop, or expand our centre back roster to a quintet which personally I don't think we should given Tomiyasu's prowess as an auxiliary central defender.

Jakub Kiwior is a left sided CB. In emergency he's playing on the right.

Congrats to him!

Hopefully we can bring him into the squad for next season. Our defensive depth is terrible.

There is talk of him going to Rangers - I hope not. He looks a decent player and handled the Championship pretty well. Played most games and as above won Birminghams POTY.
Hopefully he will come on the pre season tour with us.

I say give him a shot. Worst case scenario you sell him for 10m and turn a tidy profit.
