Arsenal have, according to the Daily Mail, completed all of the relevant paperwork that will allow USMNT goalkeeper Matt Turner to link up with them in the summer.
The American shot-stopper is joining Premier League heavyweights from MLS side the New England Revolution in a deal worth £7.5 million ($10m).

Let's hope his signing proves to be more than just a little bit prophetic in symbolising the rise of Arsenal being underway, given who we have purchased him from are so aptly named.

Why are we signing an MLS keeper???? Surely a keeper used to the physicality and aerial threat in English football would be a better choice?!!!
The best American keepers have been Tim Howard, Casey Keller, Brad Friedel, hardly amazing keepers.

He’s supposed to be a good shot stopper and physically commanding but has lousy distribution skills.
