Yes I have. He hasn’t been pulling up any trees in mls. A friend of mine is a coach in the mls and people in the know are generally surprised. Assessment is he’s a decent shot stopper but nothing more.

Turner is quality. No better or worse than Mat Ryan was as a backup.

Exactly but we still may not see because we play Chelsea and Everton, depends on if those teams adopt high balls into the box approach.

My fear is for any keeper playing in English football that is not used to an aerial bombardment.

I wouldn't take this signing seriously, feels like part of a link with the owners and the yank league to build up our rep out there again. A bit of a risk in case the lad actually has to play but generally backup keepers don't feature much in a season *touch wood*
