After a brilliant summer - I have a feeling we'll dip into the market in Jan again. If we can be close to top 4 in Jan and then strengthen further we've got a good shot in the second half of the season to have an excellent year and grab top 4.

^clueless and in denial

“Actually, on the day when we were broadcasting we had Chris Wilder behind us. He was broadcasting for a different broadcaster and at half-time we had a little chat.

“I’m like, ‘wow, he’s playing well, what a save that is’. And Chris Wilder said, ‘listen, if he’d played like that for me I might still be in a job’.

“I think he got to Sheffield United, conceded two in the first six or seven minutes, had a wobble and his performances never really recovered.

From Chris Wilder, former sheff United manager

But Jay knows more than him. Lol

I know all about his time at Sheff Utd, because I researched him when we signed him...as opposed to some who made utter fools of themselves calling him rubbish. :sneaky2:
I also said before he even played that he would be replacing your pillow friend Leno in the team.

Former Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has joked Aaron Ramsdale could have saved his job had he shown his Arsenal form with the Blades.

Wilder was actually praising Ramsdale for being brilliant for Arsenal ... he's stepped up a level which I knew he would.. although to take Leno's place he just had to turn up.

Much praise to our manager too.
Obviously Arsenal have seen something in him and his performances, brought him in and, although I was critical, he looks like he’s an outstanding goalkeeper.

Genius.

Looks like Wilder has accepted he was wrong. Some others might like to do the same too ... :sneaky2:

Ramsdale has made you look a right muppet. :P

I don't need to.
Wilder has already admitted he was wrong and has called Ramsdale an 'outstanding keeper'.
I agree with him

Changing of the goalposts lol. He was shit at sheff United. That doesn't change the fact we overpaid

He's done well since. Delighted for him. I'm not an agenda holder such as yourself

Sure you are, pal. ;)
Money well spent on a brilliant keeper.
About time we had one again.

As for his year at Sheff Utd - he was so 'shit' he won their young player of the season & their player of the season awards... or was that the Leeds fans again? :rofll:

Aaron has done you up like a kipper.

Is that it? That's your basis on why he wasn't shit at sheff utd? All that means he was less shit than other youngsters. Shit being better than shit is still shit.

Embarrassing.

As for the Leeds fans comment lol. Surprised you brought it up seeing as you rarely mention the poty for White anymore after your argument was ripped to shreds lol

Yeah , actually it is - winning the player of the season in a PL club generally means you were not shit.
Dear, oh dear.

All it means is you were better than other shit players in a relegated club

Do I need to bring up the Derby comparison again? Lol

But but all poty for every club is good enough for us apparently

It doesn't work that way

Well what does work is that he's made you look like an idiot for calling him rubbish.
That he booted Leno out of our goal just makes it even better.

The Leno thing again :rofll:

Agenda boy has real issues with hating players of the club he claims to support.

Ramsdale was rubbish at sheff utd. Just cos he isn't now doesn't change that.

Lol
