If you look at 10 pts out of 12 its hard to argue against that, but 3 out of those 4 games we didn't play well and thats what I am most concerned with because, winning and playing poorly is unsustainable, we saw it with Emery.

If we improve our performances we don't need to rely on luck, we need to move away from the "be lucky" model.

Last season we were 6 points off 4th place. This season we've dropped 7 points already against "bottom 8" clubs so far:

v Brentford - 0pts
v Norwich - 3
v Burnley - 3
v Brighton - 1
v Palace - 1

Yup, me too.
If we can pick up 9 pts from the next 15 and be on 23pts after 14 games, we're in good shape.
I suspect 23points will be pretty close to top 4 then, maybe 2 or 3 points off it.

As it stands, we've basically recovered from that Covid, injury-hit start before we had some of our new signings - and the form is banging right now.
The task is to keep this up all the way to Jan and see what we can do from there - we may even bring in another player or two then.

Why do you think picking up 54% of points puts us in pretty good shape Jay? When did picking up just over half the available points become a barometer for good form?

Perhaps it's because he has accepted that this clown of a manager is not capable of doing any better. :sneaky2:

Because it would put us on 23 points after 14 games.
That is going to be pretty close to top 4.

Exactly OGS is shit, how can you have those riches and players and be that bad!!

4 wins and 2 draws in isolation looks pretty good, but when you look at the opposition we haven't done anything that any sane Arsenal fan wouldn't have expected - perhaps Spurs win aside. 5 games left in this 12 game run, it will definitely be interesting to see where we are and how we are playing by the end of it.
