As Ornstein mentioned, we'd need to be extraordinarily bad for Josh to pull the trigger. That probably means relegation territory in December. A mid-table journey and he's signing that extension.

You really have to be clueless to see this mid table mediocrity and reward it, what kind of club does that.

If this happens you can forget us making any progress or getting back into the CL. I just don’t understand why any owner of a big club would settle for this poor performance, I guess these guys neither know anything or care about football.

Shareholders who see the club as a long-term, passive investment. That's the people who do it.

I've said this for 2-3 years now, the trajectory of Arsenal owners reveal than they want Arsenal to be akin to Everton under David Moyes.

Arteta is Moyes. Arsenal is Everton.

The money spent this summer wasn't generated by Arsenal's self-sustainability model, nor did Stanley Kroenke invest his money into the club. It was a loan. This loan needs to be paid somehow. Who's going to pay for it? They're banking on sales of players like Saka, ESR, and/or Martinelli to recoup that money. If we do achieve UCL football, so much the better. If not, we could always sell those players for a handsome sum.

A top-8 side that is self-sustainbale is what the Kroenkes desire. It's not about football. It's business. They just don't want Arsenal's intrinsic value to drop to alarming levels.

All the while, Arteta gets to express himself. Edu has a cushy job. There is no imminent need to finish in top-4 places. It's a bonus. Top-6 is desirable.

I foresee a new contract on the table for Mikel Arteta. As long as that peasant doesn't embarrass the feudels (the Kroenkes in this case), a contract extension is on the cards. He just needs to ensure stability for Arsenal within the top-8. Top-6 is desirable.

I think you might be right sadly, why would anyone settle for this rubbish otherwise.

If that is indeed the case we’re destined to be a nothing club. How sad for a once great club.

Honoured to be derided by the anti-Arsenal crowd.
Thank you.
I am still buzzing from the win.

He's a troll. Today confirmed it if it wasn't before

Buzzing about the win but hates the goal and scorer.

Ramsdale praised for having the same game Leno has done multiple times lol

Like I've said, I don't mind the trolling. Putting jay in his place every time. It's a cure for depression and stress

Buzzing after a 1-0 win at home against Norwich. It a narrow win and pretty unimpressive, yes it’s 3 points but after that dreadful start we needed to see more than a narrow win.

Meanwhile Man U win 4-1 and Ronaldo scores 2, you can only imagine how their fans feel.

Ah now it's only the same crew who embarrassed themselves over the Auba argument about his contract.
Don't think you guys have got over that yet.

..and like I said, I am genuinely happy if I make you feel better after a bad day for you like our win today.

The player you hate who saved your boy Arteta from an embarrassing defeat to a team at the bottom of the league today.......... that same player?
