Make up that we’re in for Madueke and sprinkle the extra hot spice on top that Chelsea are after Nwaneri.

The cheeky devils.

Explain how you see it happening then Jay.

If Madueke comes to Arsenal, what does it mean for Nwaneri?

In half the game time (mins played) Nwaneri got 11 G + A in all comps, Madueke got 16.

I can't imagine there is a single offensive metric where Madueke is better than Nwaneri.

He plays more centrally backing up Odegaard - perhaps even alongside in certain games + can cover out wide on both sides.
Don't fret about Nwaneri - he's getting good minutes.
Saka did not even feature in the PL when he entered the season as a 17 yr old - as Nwaneri did last year.

As I’ve said, the scary thing is sterling in his last season at Chelsea got a pl g/a per minute of 132, madueke last season got a pl g/a per minute of 186.

Hopefully this turns out better.

Madueke was significantly ahead on carrying the ball forward and creating chances.
He's very direct - much more so than Nwaneri.
IF - and it's a big if - we are in for Madueke, my suspicion would be that it's the direct play that Arteta is interested in - taking players on and creating chances against defensive set ups.

Madueke actually runs at players and gets into the penalty box more than any other in the league - he does unfortunately look like a headless chicken at times(!) but he does over the course of 90 minutes create chances out of pure volume of attempts.

He’ll be off if he doesn’t get an assurance of starting. He’s too good to sit on the bench for a team that doesn’t win anything.

No player should be afforded assurance of starting.
Anyone who demands that should be sold.
I doubt Ethan would have demanded any such thing.

He should become a LB. MLS the midfielder had to to get game time

Fabregas, Ramsey etc were given assurances of starting. But that was when we had a manager who knew how to handle talent.

I very much doubt it.

So much for assurance to Fabregas. He played the Homesick game with Wenger the whole season, then ditched us for Barca!

indeed.
Of course it's highly unlikely he ever had any guarantees.
Any player that asks for a guarantee to start games should be shown the door.
Thanks for your service and transfer listed.

Played the homesick card? He left them when he was 16 years old ffs, what were you doing when you were 16 years old? I was going to Islington Sixth Form Centre, literally just by the Emirates stadium.

So you are saying its not perfectly reasonable or logical for a 16 year old to get homesick almost 10 years after leaving the place of his birth?!
