He has to start next season. Where do we fit him in? Can he push Odegard out? Doubt it. Can he replace Martineli on the left? Not great since he cant cut in on his good foot. Can he be a false nine? Maybe. He needs more than to be Saka's backup.

He isn’t ready.

He has the ability but unlike Lewis-Skelly he doesn’t have the brain. That will come with experience.

He should've got them last season (first team starts), poor man management from Arteta.

Disagree.
He played nearly 1400 minutes for us last season - a good contribution for one so young.
He played in 37 matches and 23 of those were more than 25 minutes.
It's very good that his stock rose exponentially based on his contributions last year.
Keep in mind his age and also that he was actually very inconsistent with his performances - natural for a young player.
There is no need to go all in on him yet.
Give him time and space.

"Stock" ...

Give him time and space and he'll be snatched up by a club who actually recognizes his potential and sees that he can perform at a high level!

He's fine IMO...and it's clear we recognise his potential because he has been playing many minutes in our first team as a 17/18 yr old.
He has a lot of developing to do yet.

Biggest load of bullshit you have ever written.
If you can not start and play when the very person you compete with for possision is absolutely low on confidence and lower on form probably destroys a young players confidence.form is everything ND something Arteta needs to learn.
More importantly he needs to learn you can not start poor performers hoping to find form it only breeds a squad that has no trust in the process.
