Nwaneri's skill and goal against Germany U19-

Funny how the goalkeeper saved Nwaneri's first effort, but not his second attempt. :smartass:

That first clip is pretty damn incredible. Looking forward to his starts in this run without Odegaard.

Yeah, I thought he was decent. Showed so much more than Nelson and Vieira, that's for sure.

Pressure of a NLD hopefully does not get to him

A NLD is a massive opportunity, it's the kind of chance you dream of

Spoke to a colleague who went to the Leverkusen game. Nwaneri wasn't impressive. The other pubber kid was though. I didn't watch any game but doesn't sound good

Hope he comes good but I remember posters on this very forum going crazy about akpom, crowley, zimlazim whatever. Only one said all were shit

I hate being right :(

If you're good enough, you're old enough.

I like giving kids a chance in big games, they have no fear. Plus he's likely to have two experienced pros next to him in Jorginho and Partey.

Can see Havertz moving into midfield instead if Jesus is fit though.
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Timber--Saliba/Tomiyasu--Gabriel/Kiwior--Calafiori/Zinchenko
Partey/Rice/Jorginho
Odegaard/Smith Rowe----Rice/???
Saka/Jesus-------------------Martinelli/Trossard
Havertz/???

17yo Danny Rose scored a worldie for Spurs in the NLD on debut. It's payback time.

The Leverkusen match wasn't his best. He was much better against Liverpool and United.

Against Leverkusen, first 5 minutes when he came on he started brightly - it was his driving run that led to a goal a couple of minutes after being introduced, but he faded and made a few rookie errors to give the ball away. Trying too hard.
He's certainly got talent. but we'll need to see if he has the mentality and intelligence to make it at the top level.

Maybe we could give him a few pity penalties to boost his confidence.

Oh , is he going to be another hate figure for you? After crying like a baby about giving youth a chance?
Oh dear. Looks like Kai has hurt you more than I thought with his great form.
Lovely to see.
