Cundy is a prick. That being said the point of debuting a 15 year old for five mins is questionable. However I understand Arteta’s motivation. With five subs and nine on the bench nowadays you need a bigger squad. He’s going to have to dip into the academy more and more so better get them ready for the pressure this way.

The game was won, it was essentially a gift, and a fair one I think. Just travelling with the squad and soaking up the atmosphere is part of acclimating.

As long as safe guarding and support is taken care of, then it's a non issue as far as I'm concerned.

Imagine being handed your Premier League debut at 15 and some of the first things you read on social media are old men being negative about it all.

Talks of City and Chelsea making a move for him in the summer.

Need to stop losing top talents to rivals.

Shouldn't be happening.

If true Arteta bringing him on in the PL was a smart love

Foolish. Look at what happened to Hutchinson, becomes just a reserve rather than learning his craft properly

They did him bad tbh. Promised him a path to the first team then signed 100 wingers the very next window.

They're youth flipping again. FIFA kept saying they were going to do something about it but as usual have done diddly squat.

They sign promising talent for peanuts by giving them silly wages or signing fees and then loan them out for the next 3/4 years.

Then spin them for a tidy profit.

Towards the end of the season, bribe him by giving him 4 substitute appearances so he gets a winners medal
