We're playing a risky game w/ him really., by exposing him to hardened defenders continuously. Starts to get kicked around and risk heavy injuries.
He has no backup right now.
Arteta should have looked for temporary cover... very surprised they let things continue as they are.
He was actually out for about a couple of weeks, recently, from minor muscular issues.

If he can emulate Saka, then most of our problems are solved. Saka takes care of 50% of our attacks.
Let Odegaard, in spite of his somewhat indifferent form, do his job, and Nwaneri be the attacker from the right.
But, should Nwaneri be handling the load of Saka, is a different question. Should have recalled Fabio Vieira as his backup, because very soon he'll be given extra attention by opposition defenders,as they did to Saka

Lol more likely to get kicked to death playing wide double teamed like saka than in the hole like Ode does disappearing, but hey your right Ode won't risk running with the ball 1- he can't and 2- he would dissappear rather than take the physical route.

If you can't see the benefit of having a player that can do both and more so how much this team misses a runner in attack then your well suited to the alaighn ment of Arteta

Still sticking to an argument that is clearly wrong I see. Just accept you were wrong and move on, no shame in that.

He's clearly good enough. And with Saka out for now, he has a massive opportunity to prove himself.

Arsenal will hand winger Ethan Nwaneri, 18, a new five-year deal to fend off interest from Chelsea and Manchester City in the England youth international. (Mail)

I see his goal called a wonder goal for u21
It's a wonder none of these defenders do their home work and keep him on his right foot just as they should Saka.
Is their not a coach in world football that can teach defenders to hold players. I can tell you one thing the goal was a rinse and repeat step on the inside good finish but it really should be predictable by now

Yup, good strike but he shouldn't habe been allowed to get back onto his left foot in the first place.

The standard of defending these days is shit.

Forget about defenders that can being the ball out, hoe about you concentrate on defenders that are good at defending !!

Robben used to score these in buckets and none could keep him out. It is their body swerve that unsettles their defenders or markers. Keeps them in two minds.

The ball doesn't lie that's all you have to watch

Robben, like Messi is at the very highest level of cutting in and he was fast and had quick feet - like Messi. Nwaneri isn't near that level.

It happens too much, even mediocre wide players get away with it and its shocking defending.
