No doubt modern Arsenal has been shaped by Wenger, and though I'm a great fan of his, must admit his initial work at the club was made easier by the groundwork done by GG and even Bruce Rioch before him.
But Arteta did inherit a club in doldrums w/ Gazidis, Raul and Mislinstat leaving in quick succession and another manager ( Unai) who could not rebuild the team left by Wenger ( ageing defense, midfield needing work and general morale) effectively, and in about two years seems to have moved forward as per performances of younger players and new recruits. But, lot of work still needs to be done, and until we find the consistency of heydays of Wenger, we can't really say we have arrived at a good place.

You have been one of the slightly less vocal Arteta cheerleaders and now have the audacity to say and I quote:

If that's your opinion why have you consistently challenged and argued with people about how great Arteta is for so long?! You literally dont know what tou are talking about do you, you just assemble a bunch of words and throw them out there.

So thats victim number 3 dealt with. First we had Phil who claimed to be Arteta neutral who was unceremoniously found out to be a major Arteta cheerleader and has since been unable to deny it. The second victim was Jayram who yesterday admitted that our form had actually been patchy for the past 40 odd games, after claiming initially that we had been superb.

And now victim 3 who admits we need to find consistency and that until then we cannot say we have arrived at a good place, things that 90% of those people that want Arteta out have been saying for months :rofll: :rofll:

You are not dealing with anyone HH.

No one on this forum thinks we’ve arrived At where we need to be. No one in this forum thinks Arteta has not made mistakes. No one thinks he’s still not got work to do.

Sensible fans can see the progress being made and have seen positive signs for a while.

You just failed to see what others did and spiralled into a state of negativity that was unwarranted, which has left you where I warned it would.
