You just called …

ESR
Tierney
Tomiyasu
Elneny
Vieira
Nketiah
Lakonga
Marquinos

all rubbish.

What an utterly dumbass thing to say.

ESR - injured
Tierney - easily injured
Tomiyasu - good
Elneny - crap
Vieira - to be determined
Nketiah - bang average
Lakonga - crap
Marquinos - too young to lead any kind of challenge

I agree with this however, we are heading in the right direction, lets's win something before we start gushing over him. Interesting though and very good for the club to see us at the top as appose to the bottom like last season. :arse fan:

He has my support. Unless there is a scandal or an epic fail, I can't see Josh giving him the boot. He's adjusting quickly and we're finally seeing his style come through from the players.

Even during Wenger’s worst days and Don Emery’s era, our best eleven could put anyone away. Problems were always when we didn’t have our best eleven to turn to. Teta is a lucky boy he’s got everyone fit at the moment but it’s only October.

We have an advantage over the teams in the cl, we can rest players for the el they can’t for the cl, this could be pivotal up until the world cup

That’s not quite true. EL games are played a day closer to the weekend and in more far flung places than CL games. This idea of resting players for the EL is a myth. We will have to field our best players on most thursdays, travel back home in the middle of the night and get ready for early kick offs on the weekend. EL is not an easy league for English teams.

True, it will be interesting to see how we get on with a few of our best missing.

From what I've seen so far, I think the board didn't want to fix our squad depth issue last transfer window. We have skipped some relatively cheap potential transfers such as Bissouma and Tieleman. Richarlison and Raphinha were probably too expensive. Douglas Luiz on deadline day was only because of Elneny and Partey injuries. Maybe next summer.
It is almost the same as last January. The board said no deals last January then we bought no one because Edu (and Arteta) could do nothing. In short, the board (or let's say the Kroenkes) are not in a hurry.

Not sure why it would be interesting. All teams suffer when their best players are missing. Perhaps you meant exciting as opposed to interesting . That would make more sense for you.

If Partey or Xhaka get long term injuries/suspensions it is season over imo.

Great win yesterday and a great start to the season! Good chance of top 4 if we can keep it up.

100%. Cemented.
Major breakthrough over the last 8 days.
Right man for the job.

Signing him up to a new contract before the end of last season looks an incredibly smart move now.

I f***ing love what he’s done to this club, he wasn’t even here for the glory days of Arsenal but somehow understood it in his few years here as a player and has taken us back to a classic arsenal style and a passionate fan base enjoying football again.

Transfers largely a hit, players all likeable (even that former c*** Xhaka) and I’m excited to watch every game again. What a don.
