Is our defence better? Absolute dog v teams that attack.

Clean sheets v teams that don't

In recent seasons, orcs like Burnley would've bullied us for a goal.

(Yes, I know Arsenal played them to a draw two seasons ago, starman.)

Yes but there is a reason Burnley have been in the bottom 3 all season and its not because they are scoring loads. We are definitely better equipped to deal with the physical game, with Tomi, Tierney, Gabriel and Partey, not sure about Ben White yet.

That was the first home game Burnley failed to score in.

Yeah. Including scoring in both their previous home games.
They didn't score against us.
Doesn't matter who you play in this league. An away win and a clean sheet is an excellent result.
In fact, any win, home or away, is a result to be happy about.
Can't understand people who are waiting for us to lose so they can whine, then when we win say ...' but it was only...'.. They are just entrenched in negativity and in need of validation.

That Burnley did

This Burnley hasn't won a home game since January and barely score

Norwich are arguably the worst side in premier League history

I'll take the wins but that's all. Performance wise we were dreadful.

I agree, I mean how can you say a 1-0 victory over a side who haven’t won at home since January is a great result.

I expected us to be Norwich and Burnley but by more goals, these two have got 1 point between them this season.

Watford managed 3 against Norwich and made them look very poor yesterday.

I don’t get it, we have a terrible start to the season, the worst ever, then we narrowly win two games against relegation candidates (in one game we don’t even score our only goal in open play) and there’s people who are actually happy and saying we’re getting somewhere.

Spurs game will take me either down to 10% (loss), up to 80% (win) or stuck at 50/50 if we draw.

Massive test of where we are!

0% still, especially now that the much ballyhooed defense from last year is showing its limitations.

If a victory v Spurs helps kick off a long unbeaten streak like in 2018, I'll reconsider.

Like PG said, the defense actually looks good now and hopefully the days of getting bullied are behind the club.
