13th looks about right with this clown in charge.

Lol, it's using Ozm's formula of doom.

We'll be 6th this year, maybe 5th.

Interesting, but this looks to be too heavily influenced by the team's current form. Brentford aren't going to make Top 4.

And while I think 13th is possible for us, I just don't see us managing 18 points less than last season.

Looking back at the start of this season and people were saying we'd end up anywhere from 13th to 8th (even I did, and I support Arteta).

But now that we're actually doing better suddenly the expectations have changed completely and those that dislike Arteta are saying that anything less than 4th is a sackable offense, even though it was looking like a pipe dream back in August.

With that being said, my mid season predictions:
- Before the end of the season, we'll have at least one more meltdown period on this forum after a bad run of results. With Partey leaving for AFCON and some tough away games awaiting us, that period might be coming very soon.
- We'll miss out on top 4, with Arteta haters calling for his head but everyone else feeling a sense of positivity over the progress made compared to last season.

In bold - Exactly. Noticed the same. Shifting sands.

I think your predictions may well turn out to be accurate.

You only seem excited when we do badly or other teams managers and players do well, so the fact you have not been excited very much is great for Arsenal.

You're the last one to talk to about loving it when we do bad.

Jedi chatting bollox as usual.

I think you will find the people that wanted Arteta out claimed that top 6 should be sackable because considering how much we have spent and the lack of Euro football as a distraction, we should be aiming for top 4.

No shifting sands anywhere, stop making up false narratives.

I myself claimed top 4 must be the goal and the only way I would accept not achieving that would be if we were in the hunt and fell short late on.
