Early days but he looks awesome, really reminds me of Sagna with how hard he is to bear defensively.

He got a bit more involved up top as well and looks a threat in the box from set pieces.

So glad Bellerin fked off, most of us could see he needed to be shipped out years ago.

Tomi is a massive improvement.

Not so fast, champ.

Donreal was superb for us. Tomi might surpass Monreal. It's a tough ask, however. Monreal is not only underrated. He was extremely intelligent.

That said, we've been blessed in the RB positions: Dixon, Lauren, Sagna (might be our best ever RB), Bellerín (was a revelation when he first played), Tomiyasu.

To be fair, same could be said about the LB role as well: Winterburn, Cole, Clichy (was a huge prospect back then), Donreal, and now Tierney—even though the latter isn't a "great" defender.

3rd game for us and in an NLD up against son, did superbly well, kept Son quiet for 99% of the game which is no joke, don't think I saw anyone dribble past him for the full ninety either. Guy just seems very intelligent and switched on, imagine going back to chambers or bellerin now...

Amazed by his strength and movement. I can't believe Bellerin had this role for so long.
