Their team is good enough to challenge for the title, Ronaldo is that little bit extra which separates a good team from a winning one, but you still need a decent manager but Solkjaer isn’t very good.

Don’t be surprised if Ronaldo and Varane drag them over the line. United have a very good chance of doing it this season.

No chance.

If ever you needed proof that the manager is the key component NOT the players. any half decent manager and that Man U squad will be level-pegging with Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City as favourites to win the league. Solskjaer is fookin shite, Man U look fookin shite !

Nonsense.
Your argument points to the opposite.
Utd are 2 points off the top of the table, level with City and a point behind Liverpool - and finished 2nd last year - with a 'fookin sh*te' manager as you put it.
The ONLY reason people are talking as if they could win the title is because they signed Ronaldo and Varane...although I think they are going to realise that both are not good signings over time. Of course, people will blame the manager if they don't win it, but the reality is they signed a 36yr old who they are expecting to last a full season and be the difference and a defender who RM were happy to sell because he had been poor for them in his final year.

Played well vs villa, looks solid defensively considering where he has come from and being so young, I genuinely think this guy after some more time to adapt could be one of the best right backs in the league. Also looked like both of our wing backs had more freedom to get forward against Villa and it was good to see him in the attacking half more, he went on a really good run at one point .

It just goes to prove the point that effectively for the last two seasons or so we'd been playing with the substance of a ghost at right back in Bellerin.

Looks good defensively. Haven't seen much offensively.

Can he still be as good defensively when he has to attack? Or will he be one of the old school full backs that stays back?
