.............. and yet our clown managers hung on to Bellerin for years making out he's this amazing player, Arteta was still showering him with praise even as he left the club.

Fact is AFC fans noticed years ago that plonker had gone down hill.

I swear the fans would do a better job of running the club.

Tomi is good, I like him.

Would be surprised if he started given he will not have trained much with the team.

That would be why he looked so good then.

Great debut and refreshing to see a player that can head a ball at the back.

Arteta signed this guy and put his money where his mouth is by starting him straight away, despite only arriving in the UK a few days ago.
Tomiyasu looks like a brilliant signing.
I was surprised today how good he was going forward, never mind the fact he's brilliant in the air and aggressive at closing down the opponent wide player (something Bellerin sucked at)

Rock on Tomi.

............. forced signing because Bellerin refused to stay, Arteta was begging him not to leave and that would of mean't no Tomi.

So more like a happy accident rather than a brilliant signing.

Probably credit really has to go to Edu if we're being honest, lets not pretend Arteta had been watching this "no-namer" from the Italian division, its one of Edu's scouts and recomendation.

But we can agree glad we signed him, not going to lie looks as good if not better than Tierney.

Yes.

Arteta wanted Bellerin not Tomi, he was forced into buying a replacement.

If anyone deserves credit its actually Bellerin for refusing to stay ......... if only Xhaka had done the same.

I'm not giving Arteta credit for something he didn't want, now if Arteta wanted Bellerin gone and then got Tomi, scout or no scout (Edu) I would of given Arteta the credit for making that situation occur, but he fought it.

That's like me giving credit to Wenger for signing Auba just because it happened under his watch, however, we all know Auba was a Mislintat and Gazidis buy, one they had to force on Wenger because Arsene never wanted him, he wanted to keep Giroud.

Utter nonsense.
Arsenal had been tracking Tomiyasu for some time.

Arteta takes all the credit for the signing.

Looks like he has good potential.
Adam's was our huge Tree in defence,
Good to see him challenging and winning headers
I shall name him Bonsai Tony

He adds some much needed muscle at the back. Excited about his potential.
