Beast of a player, when he scores he goes wild, you can see the passion, pity some others don't have the same.

Been fantastic recently both ends of the box, actually he's player of 2025 for us and quite easily.

Somehow he's managing to pip Saliba.......and I don't even know how you do that but the goals added to the defending is making Gab a worldie

Saudi club Al-Nassr are planning a summer bid for Arsenal's Brazil centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes, 27. (GiveMeSport)

If he left, I don't trus tthe owner to spend the money wisely. I guess we could get Guehi easily, but Palce would charge a lot.

Pound for pound, Gabriel is the best CB in the league. Van Dijk just has pedigree, that's all.

CB are about partnerships as much as personal performances, Saliba goes or gabby goes it will take a decent bit of transfer work to fill that void because that void is not coming from the group we have currently.god forbid both going that would see us right in the shite.

Why is there any talk about Arsenal letting its major assets go?
Arsenal is a buying club ,has been since 2012, when Van Persie left. We have spent around half a billion to get where we are ,and are solvent in a big way.
In future we'll continue to buy top talent, instead of letting them go. We've enough to satisfy their needs ( salaries and perks).
Stupid idle gossips!
Besides, RealM , Barca, Bayern don't have the financial clout anymore to buy 100-150 mil £/€ players. Rather, we have that , PSR permitting!

Saliba is our VVD, he raised Gabriel's level and can help train his replacement if it comes to that. If Gabriel goes, Timber takes his place, and he's been very good this year.

We can afford to lose Gabriel but not Saliba.

I presume the worry is ambitious players want to win things and there is no sign of that happening under Arteta.

I would place Gabriel's importance to the team higher than Saliba's at this point, not by much, but we haven't seen the version of Saliba from the previous 2 seasons much this season.

Good. gives him more time to rest.
Though it would be a travesty for Brazil not to qualify for the WC and not see him in action. Argentina are bossing them right now. Champions of the World and South America.

Neither Brazil nor Argentina is producing players comparable to their classic best. The 2014 side that lost to Germany in the WC final was better man-for-man than the one that beat France in 2022. Messi and di Maria were in their prime, and they had Aguero and Higuain.
Paqueta, Richarlison, and even our own Jesus are nothing compared to Ronaldo Nazario, Ronaldinho, or Romario. Jesus has Brazilian-type tech but his finishing and goal-scoring rate are weak.
