Yet to be convinced he’s good encounters, certainly not much good at FB though.

Looked good today - another player making your OTT dismissal of him look silly.

Not at all, he had very little to do and he’s shown he can’t play full back repeatedly over the season.

He’s not being dismissed he’s just not proven that he’s particularly good.

Wasn’t a standout player yesterday, gets a decent score because everyone was decent but he’s at the lower end for of the team for sure.

Don’t actually mind him it’s just that he’s not really ever shown us particular quality.

He is turning out to be a no fuss no nonsense solid , consistent defender. That's what we want , like White.
Against Pool, he shut them down in the 2nd half, against WH, their right wing was non existent, at their home.
Keep doing this and we have 5-6 solid defenders with multiple abilities ( he can play CB as well, so can Tomi, and Timber and White).

Looks better at LB than at CB.

Nowhere near the player everyone said would take Gabriel's place by the end of last season. Mind you, with Gabriel's current form there aren't many players in world football who could force him out of the team!
Raya/Garcia
White/Timber--Saliba/Diomande--Gabriel/Calafiori--Lewis-Skelly/Kiwior
Partey/Zubimendi
Odegaard/Havertz----Rice/Merino
Saka/Nwaneri-------------------Leao/Martinelli
Sesko/Delap

Looks to be really settling in as he gets some game time. Did very well today.
Right now showing to be a very good signing for the squad.

Good performance today but Burnley were totally toothless so he still needs to be counted on in big games.

Didn’t think he did anything special against West Ham, they were just so bad.

Haven’t seen the game today but your comments suggest he wasn’t really tested, on that basis it’s hard to judge how he is doing.
