Its not "our" money anymore, this is Kroenke's money, from every penny down, it all belongs to Kroenke not shareholders, fans and board members.

We have to adapt our mindset now, do City or Utd fans care about counting the pennies? no, because when the club is owned 100% then this all becomes the owners problem and quite frankly, I don't care how much of Kroenke's money we waste.

When you're operating a self sustainable model we should absolutely care.

We're operating on the Kroenke model.

We used to operate in a self sustainable and I'm sure Kroenke was hoping to do that but things have changed and quite frankly again .............

Our fans need to start understanding the situation properly, there is "no model" we operate only and exactly how Kroenke feels on any given day.

We've had windows where he provided next to nothing, we've had windows where he spent more than almost anyone.

People need to start making that mental shift in how they think about club spending, Kroenke decides, full stop.

We still do have to operate within UEFA and the PL FFP rules, though.

It is probably called financial balancing/ bookkeeping model.
Spend and then recuperate and budget later.
Business in black and white, not in grey, or dark.

We spread the costs over several years thus crippling our future transfer budgets, particularly if we fail to qualify for the CL.

Lol. How would 'Z' know if we're 'scrambling around'?

As for getting rid of 16 of the players in Emery's squad....

This has to be one of the worst transfer windows in the history of the club - if not the worst. This cannot be shrugged off without an explanation from someone at the club.

The Kroenke model is based on the self sustainable model.

OMG your still not letting go are you.

A model is a plan usually agreed between a board, shareholders and finally the manager has to accept it, which come with restrictions and boundaries of how the club operates.

That is what AFC had with the former board and Arsene Wenger who were all in step with how we operated as a club.

The club now has a 100% owner, meaning there is no model agreed and to stick to, Stan has no one to answer to so can and will change things on a whim.
Yes he originally came in with the self sustaining model in mind, however, we have no model now ........... if Stan decides we spend nothing, then that's what happens, even if we have surplus.

Like I said, you need to get your head around the fact that having a 100% owner means models are out of the window, he pushes the buttons now and that can change from window to window, there is no model now just Kroenkes decisions.

So we literally have 3 days to save the season / window and we've not got one solid lead or deal pending.

There is some noise about Neves but that's what's worrying me, all the ST targets have gone quiet, most of them dead.

Why do we always have to perform a trolley dash last minute? Villa, Newcastle, Juve, City loads of clubs are getting things done, we've done fk all but held a fire sale of our squad.

I think they leave it til the last minute cos if we'd signed a striker and a midfielder before then the fans would be wanting more. Now if we just get those two positions we'll be happy.

Also, if we'd signed them before Liverpool and the NLD wasn't postponed and results didn't go our way then those players would be written off before they even got started and we'd all be writing the team off.

Have we bought anyone yet? Is it going to be a trolley dash at the 11th hour?

There's very little that can be done to save the season at this point. Our squad is on a razor's edge in terms of depth because we've moved so many players out. Quite frankly, we are one injury away from a crisis especially in defence. One or even two signings won't cut it - we'll need at least five signings to bolster the numbers.

Seasons over in January lol

Last transfer window was bad. This has beaten it.

At least we bought players in the last one. Not what we needed but at least they were bought for squad depth etc

Now we don't even have that.

Back to square one.

I thing Tomi and Ramsdale proved to be good signings. Although I hope Tomi is not going to be one of those players who is injured a lot.
