The ball is not in Auba's court, is it? He's been told to train alone, yet there is room in the squad for Wilshere to join the Dubai training camp.

Auba is available for selection, but we both know that minutes are going to Lack 'o Goals and LOLketiah, both of whom are in shit form.

What's Auba supposed to do?

Good to see he's not interested in money

Is that so…
Captain Sick Bed has only ever been interested in money.

Campaign of insults directed at our players continues from thread to thread I see.

If he had any sense he would leave this shit show and move on, the ego-tripping clown will not change.

He’s probably loving it right now.
£350k a week for sitting on his ass.
TBH only slightly less effort in that compared to his last 18 months playing.

It is.
He needs to apologise and convince Arteta’s he will not break the rules again.
Then he needs to play better and score goals if he gets another chance.
That is how he saves his career… if he even wants to.

He's doing an Ozil. Keep an eye on his IG for subtle digs at the coach. The training hard and laughter pics.

This season Auba has 7 goals in 15 games which is a better goal average than any striker we’ve had baring Henry.

:rofll:

If we are going to take all competitions.

Auba 7 goals in 1,116 minutes of play - a goal every 159 minutes
Nketiah 5 goals in 509 minutes of play - a goal every 102 minutes

So his rate is not even as good as Eddie Nketiah's this season.

Oops.

Nketiah scores all his goals in the CC

3 against Sunderland (lower league), 1 against Leeds and 1 against AFC Wimbledon (lower league).

Aubameyang scored 4 (Norwich, Palace, Spurs, Villa) in the PL and 3 in the CC (West Brom).

You need to have some context, so Eddie scored all his goals against rubbish teams, Aubameyang scored 4 of his 7 against rubbish teams.

The context was already set by including Auba's non PL goals.

If we just want to look at his PL goals he has scored 4 in 1,040 minutes of play - that is a goal every 210 minutes. Not good.

Trying to big up Auba's goalscoring this season is a rather futile effort any which way you cut it. He's been dog.

Maybe so but in a real comparison Aubameyang is superior to Nketiah due to the level of team Nketiah scored all his goals against.

I think there’s more to Aubameyang not scoring than just him losing his touch, it’s a complex situation.

Great. So no need to dip into the transfer market then. Looking forward to seeing what Arteta can do with Nketiah leading the line.

Nah, mate - as we all know, we need a stop striker as we don't have one.

Big difference. Ozil was training with the first team, despite being cut from the squad.

Auba is being told to train alone, despite us having no backups, and Laca and Nketiah's form being just as bad.
