We made the same mistake putting Laca on £180k and Partey on 200k. Both are good players but we will never recover a fee for selling them.

I can see Pepe being loaned out for the remaining 2 seasons and leave quietly after that.

What are we doing on the wages front??

There is always Newcastle :sneaky2:

Mikel Arteta has emphatically denied Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for 26-year-old Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe in January. (Metro)

I think we should see how he does as a ST.

The best thing about him is that he can beat a man and he has a great left foot shot.

.......... other than that he's crap, may as well see if he could flourish a bit closer to goal.

He has not had much of a look in this season, so its either a case of Arteta is clueless on what to do with him/how to play him or its the usual lip service and hoping something will work out.

Is there a more trial and error manager in the league?!!! Not now OGS has been sacked.

Went from being phased out to not even getting a look in.

I see a loan move in his future and quiet departure in a couple of years.

If he could control a ball or had a half decent technique I would have been disappointed.

This tbh. Was excited when he first arrived but objectively he's been a net negative.

I didn't know much about him but I thought he must be the new Henri or something for the price we paid for him...

Needs to play more. In a team with limited threat, he brings it

Problem is PL is so tight there's just no place for experimenting, especially Arsenal , who's playing catch up all the time. You got to get the best eleven to get the max.
Martinelli took his chance today so hopefully he'll see more starts with the busy Christmas schedule. I'm sure Pepe's chance will come but he has to make good right away . No room for easygoers anymore.

He's going to AFCON soon so he won't get a chance lol

Hopefully he has a good tournament and we can offload him in January - hasn't worked out and has become a very expensive mistake.
