Done ok so far. Nothing Leno hasn't done countless times so it's good to have 2 capable keepers again.

He's been shit past 2 season's but showing no sign of that affecting him for us

Dude, Leno is finished.
Gone in January I'd say.
I did try and tell you he'd lose his Number 1 jersey.
Don't know why you are so attached to him.

How so?
I told you several times what would happen with Leno.
It was obvious he has not been good enough beyond his shot-stopping, but you couldn't accept it because for some reason you got too attached to the guy.
He'll go in January or the summer and we will bring in a new backup to Ramsdale.
It's just the way it is.

Ramsdale looks far more capable and brings a calm to the defence that Leno never did.

Its just refreshing to have players like Tomi and Ramsdale who are over joyed to be playing for Arsenal.

Football is a privilege and too many of our dross and spoilt brats had forgotten that.

To think Bellerin left to go to Betis over AFC, we let those prcks drag our club down to that level, Xhaka wanting to leave, Bellerin, Willian ......... and after everything we'd done for them.

Taken Xhaka back after he crossed the line, standing by Bellerin even after his injury and giving Willian the golden parachute contract his own club Chelsea wouldn't even give him.

Those players moaned because they thought we were too demanding!

But they don't understand, we don't expect Barcelona esque every week, but we at least want to see effort and pride in playing for the club, everyone loses, City and Liverpool lose games, but its how you lose.

Attitude has become such a problem at AFC, kick em all out, we literally don't need them.

AMN can go next for me, asked to leave and keeps chasing this ridiculous idea of CM, get rid by next season, Mari as well, Holding, unless we keep them as back up only.

Leno concedes a goal whilst getting a hand to it.

We'd never hear the end of it from the agenda boys led by yourself

Ramsdale does it. Great game. Great keeper etc lol

I judge both the same. You have favourites.

Ach its not about the save.

.......... its about all the aspects of his game.

Everyone has stated Leno's shot stopping may even be better than Ramsdales.

But Ramsdale is better at every other aspect of the position, distribution, commanding the area, working with the CB's, not making poor decisions that result in us conceeding from trying to play out from the back, composure under pressure, controlling the pace of the game from goal kicks.

Leno's been a liability loads of times in those other areas, he's almost as bad as Xhaka in that regard.

He's lost his place for a reason.

But tbf you thought Leno was better than Martinez so ..............

Leno better than a keeper who did nothing for us in 10 years bar one month?

It's a bit obvious

As for Ramsdale, no difference to Leno. That includes all aspects. Leno plays the same passes etc

People are making things up though. Ramsdale shouts more lol.

Martinez "did nothing for us" because he wasn't given the chance, when he was given the chance he was incredible, I'm not saying he was always good, likely he was a late bloomer but it doesn't really matter, game after game he proved himself, regardless of it being a month or not.

Fact is he's now at Villa and still doing well so your "Just a month" point is moot.

Leno's been usurped in both his last two head to heads with other keepers .......... there's a reason for that.

Martinez played cos Leno was injured. Soon as he's fit, he's number 1 and Martinez is sold. How is that him being usurped?

Overpaid for Ramsdale so might as well play him

Leno looks like a quiet, shy type. Ramsdale seems to have a big personality. In terms of ability they probably aren't too far apart but Ramsdale offers much more. He's a shouter on the pitch and a joker off the pitch and that is what you need from a keeper.

ps if anyone on here is waiting for his first big mistake so they can be proven right, please, stop yourself.

Martinez was sold because we had two keepers and other clubs were willing to spend money on him, he was an asset profit wise, also I believe AFC has spent money on Leno and don't want to flush that investment, but saying that we were making all sorts of sht decisions back then.

Should of sold Leno because 6 months later he's been replaced by the goalie from Sheffield United.

I think Martinez was the best of the 3 personally, he’s been outstanding for Villa.

Amazing to think we had him for years and never game him a chance and we had some rubbish keepers in that time, clearly the people at the club didn’t really rate him.

Seaman was the goalie for QPR. Schmeichel was the goalie for Brondby.

Leno was out with a nasty ligament injury throughout most, if not the entire 2020/21 summer transfer window.
