The reason I say that is because he seemed to make a very nice footballing team that lacked that toughness, the barca game is an obvious example, also the Madrid game this year they took the lead and I felt that was the much better team and ended up conceding shit goals and took a big L

You would expect this statement from anyone being hired as new Arsenal manager. What did you guys expect? It's called showing respect and playing the political game. In the modern game, Wenger is no longer a reference. Don't kid yourselves.

I realised a while ago that we are in a time frame where people have become so used to exaggerating everything for a laugh that they started to behave like the exaggeration is the norm.
Instead of accepting an alternative argument, people tend to now add more bullshit onto their own point of view to rationalise and maintain that they are right / everything is as they see it (refer to trump supporters / evangelicals / most spurs fans).

I'm legitimately baffled how the PSG failure narrative exists for his time at PSG.
He was there for 2 years and won 5 trophies, including a first season quadruple (If you count their version of the charity shield).
He won silverware in his follow up and final season too. Ok he was beaten by a young team in Monaco, but let's not pretend that they were anything but amazing for that season.
Fabinho
Bernardo Silva
Mbappe
Mendy
Bakayoko
Lemar
Etc all had an absolutely amazing season and deserved their title.
It's a testament that over half that list are now title winners in their new clubs.
Also, all this talk about neymar mugging him off and him being weak because of it is misguided. This is the same man that engineered a move away from Barca and is now engineering a move away from PSG within a season ffs. He's a greedy prick of the highest order who has absolutely no gratitude loyalty or shame for anyone but himself.
Finally, the whole Ben arfa bullying him angle is also not the one. Put it into perspective and look at the prime years of Ben arfas career will consist of. He'll be remembered for being a meme king and not a top footballer. If you want an example of someone who is ruining their glory years and doesn't realise they will live with that regret for all those years after, look at hatem Ben arfa.
That guy literally doesn't know what's good for him.

PSG weren't treble winners and have a history of winning the CL

Emery failed though, he lost a title to an underdog, in CL group stages he finished behind and failed to beat arsenal twice, failed to get past the CL last 16, whilst basically having the two most expensive players of all time.
