Arsenal Legends v Real Madrid Legends

https://www.arsenal.com/news/legends-ar ... ble-header

Our legends will take on a team of Real Madrid greats home and away this year, in aid of both clubs’ charitable foundations.

We travel to the Santiago Bernabeu for the first game on Sunday, June 3. The two teams then come to north London for a second match at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, September 8, kick-off at 2pm.

Robert Pires was in Madrid on Monday to announce the games. He is expected to play alongside fellow Invincibles Freddie Ljungberg, Gilberto Silva, Ray Parlour, Sol Campbell and Lauren. Tomas Rosicky is also set to take part in both legs, together with a host of star names.

Roberto Carlos, Xabi Alonso and Raul are among the players due to feature for Real Madrid Legends.

The match in Spain will be played in aid of Real Madrid’s Foundation, with the return match in aid of The Arsenal Foundation.

Our inaugural legends match against AC Milan Glorie in 2016 helped to raise £1million to build football pitches around north London and internationally. This double header against Real Madrid will help us use football and the Arsenal name to reach more young people around the world.

Arguably the only thing to look forward to in the coming months regarding this club.

Went to the AC Milan game which was awesome. Hopefully but unlikely we see Bergkamp in one of these games, ideally the home one as I tend to be there. Get the full array of Galacticos as well hopefully

Hopefully Ancelotti is there as our manager who has also managed Real.

The Non-Flying Dutchman would probably play in the home leg.

Casillas

Salgado Hierro Cannavaro Carlos

Beckham Zidane Makelele Figo

Raul Ronaldo

That should be the Real team. The greatest team seen in Emirates history

We'll probably get Gravesen, Faubert, Owen and Woodgate

McManaman as well probably but he was pretty good
