How is Welbeck good value for money compared to Lacazette anyway?

Laca must have more than 3 times the number of goals and assists Welbz has over the past two seasons in this half season anyway

Welbeck is not good value for money when compared to Lacazette in any scenario.

Welbeck has been total shit even not considering that he cost us 16m.

And then when you take the inflated market into account, the fact that we paid 16m for welbeck before the market went haywire, tells you that we got fleeced by manU.

And then you take into account that Welbeck has been shit even though he had been in PL for a number of years before he joined us. This is Laca's first season in the league and like you said even then his numbers trump Welbeck's. Thats how bad Welbeck is.

The difference here is in expectations. Arsenal fans want Lacazette to be a superstar. That's where the disappointed is coming from. As for Welbeck. the expectation is for him not to be shit and even then he is failing lol.... :rofll:

Turn him into a right winger or sell him.

Scored that goal which knocked United out and took us the FA cup final which we won, after nearly a year out on his return game scored the winning goal against Leicester to keep us in the title race, after Mertesacker he put in a MOTM performance against Chelsea in the FA cup final, always puts in a big shift specially in a big game, for a player who rarely features he was excellent value for money it's not his fault that our starters have not been good enough since his arrival.

Shame as Danny doesn't get the respect he deserves, when he played alongside world class RVP, Rooney and Carrick at the time he was a key player and a valued member of the title winning squad under Fergie during his last season.

Anyways I can't force you guys to see it but Welbeck is far from our biggest problem and until we get rid of the main ones like Xhaka, Iwobi etc I am more than happy with Welbeck as a member of this team, can we do better than him yes but for now he's fine I'm not deluded about certain players unlike a former poster of the year.

You're deluded about Welbeck because the guy is absolute shit.

And his goal against United didn't take us to the Final, it took us to the semi-final.

Also, lol at Danny being a valued member of United's 2012 team, 2 goals in 40 appearances...

So Welbeck is great because he scored from a backpass, for which everyone would blame the defender, rather than praise the striker.

He scored a last minute winner against Leciester, assisted by Ozil who's supposedly shit at big games, according to the same poster

MOTM performance against Chelsea.... where Ramsey scored the winner, Sanchez got the first goal, and Giroud assisted the second. Welbeck had no role in either of the goals.

Lol, what?

You know a player is shit when the one and same goal from years ago keeps getting brought up in his defense.

Never mind the fact that this clown's horrendous miss late in the match against Watford was the big reason we got kicked out of FA.

None of the teams above us would play him, which is also why they are above us.

2 goals in 40 appearances is actually pretty good for the scrub.

............. but Welbeck and Iwobi are on a similar level.

So if your saying Iwobi is the issue (which he is) then how can you say Welbeck isn't?

Also are you really bringing up goals from years ago ........... really?

When Iwobi puts in a game like Welbeck did for United against Real in 2013, maybe you'll have a point.

The difference between then and now is that Ferguson knew how to get the best out of players like Park, Welbeck and Fletcher. And Wenger doesn't.

You're defending Welbeck. Don't think you're in a position to humiliate anyone at this point

On the contrary ! Welbeck is an established England international - so your opinion on him makes no difference. He has 36 full England caps. Contrast that to a truly shit player, Tom Cleverley who has 13 full England caps. So yes I can humiliate you by listing the young foreign players Wenger brought in that were shite, more shite than the English ones - because thats the argument.
