In any event, here's an article with some vid.

At Monaco, Ade scored 20 in 100 games.

Thats only 1 in 5. Thing is, Ade was 21 when he came here and still learning, Chamakh is 25 so surely reaching his full potential? If it takes him a year to settle in he'll be almost 27. From what I've read he'll fit in with our style of play perfectly, its just he probably won't put the ball in the net.

Makes me feel good.

BTW He scored 1 in 15 in his last season

I think that AW being willing to sign him is a good enough indication that he can be an, at least, adequate replacement for Ade. Chamakh plus an experienced midfielder instead of Ade  that sounds like a good deal to me.

Yeah, as I commented elsewhere, his strike rate is poor and worse than Bendtner's for Arsenal which at first glance is a slap in the face.

But by all accounts, Chamakh is a link up man and brings people into play. We already have goal scorers in Eddie and RvP, someone like Chamakh could prove to be the perfect outlet for them to play alongside. For me it's a case of either or with RvP and Eddie as I don't think they'd be an ideal partnership...that's not to say it will never work, as inevitably it will on occasions.

Either way, we don't have a problem scoring goals, it's at the other end, so while Chamakh might prove to be an underwhelming signing, I'd rather we sign him and a quality CB or DM as opposed to spunking all our money on someone like Huntelaar.

Never a truer word spoken Goonerdane

If we get rid of Ade and use the money to buy 2-3 experienced players, I am happy with that
