That's not the point though, you still can't fire a manager if your 3rd in the league ffs.

Imagine being 3rd, swapping the manager then slipping to 6th, who would the fans blame then?

Now he's slipped out into 5th / 6th is the perfect time to do it.

I don't think the conversations was about him being fired. It was a struggle just for people to acknowledge how poorly we were playing and we were lucky to be third.

They'd blame Emery, just like some still blame Wenger for literally everything wrong with us today.

Half of the fools calling for his head were super smug when we were 3rd and abused the people who said this was not sustainable. I really don’t get how you can watch your team struggle every game and can’t see the problems.

More honest conversations tend to happen when the wheels fall off and we don't have the results to paper over the cracks. The problems we see today have always been there.

Oh I was absolutely calling for him to get fired then. I even compiled a small list of managers getting fired or having their contract not renewed despite achieving more than Emery has, such as winning the PL/La Liga or the CL, or being runners-up in the league or CL.

The problem with a large portion of Arsenal's fan base is they claim to be patient and wait to see what happens. But on the other side, we see that as completely reactionary and would like to see the club actually be proactive for a change and fix things before they start to spiral out of control (like what is happening now). We've been saying for the better part of a year this was going to happen but kept getting shouted down by the "rational" fans for being Mystic Megs.

He is going nowhere as long as we are in Europe.

Good then this club will keep getting what it truly deserves. No success and being a laughing stock. The players have stopped playing for him

I agree, however the money men will see it different.

Is this correct??

We didnt have a shot on target until the 80 mins when Mustafi scored with a header???

This is against a bunch of nobodies.

This isnt about talent. Are you telling me Arsenal doesnt have more talent than a team of farmers?

No, this is about piss poor management.

Emery has been an utter failure.

Get rid of him NOW!

The clear overall problem is the non caring Kronke's.

If they gave a shit. We would of won or at least been challenging for a CL already by now by getting the best manager they could and looking to buy the best players.

Since Wenger fell of we have continually gone backwards every year especially since 2016. This shit situation we are in is more than just Emery giving up.

This board has done nothing to advance us forward as a club whatsoever as the mortgage has slowly been paid off and we will continue to get worse until this changes.

If you want to remind yourselves of what a real crisis looks like: Napoli players are defying club orders to attend a mandatory week-long training camp

Napoli in row with players over training retreat
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50322707

Napoli said they will "protect" their rights after players reportedly refused to attend a training retreat.

Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis ordered the team to attend a week-long training camp after slipping 11 points behind league leaders Juventus.

But manager Carlo Ancelotti and his players all returned home following their 1-1 draw with Salzberg in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The club did not give details of what sanctions the players may face.

In a statement Napoli said: "The club announces that, with reference to the behaviour of the players on Tuesday, it will proceed to protect its rights on an economic, capital, image and disciplinary levels in every competent jurisdiction.

Always a storm before sunshine
There is no quick fix the club needs overhauling from its academy upwards.the soft underbelly and comfortable slippers our whole franchise has been able to slip into started with AW non questioned club reign, and being allowed too much power,
We are here now first thing would be get rid of Bould and bring in Bergkamp to the academy
Sack the coach
Bring in a huge player as captain some one the academy, players alike look up too a proven captain with winning credentials pay moonbeams for him
Make sure there is a guaranteed transfer budget each season make this a bottom line figure with negotiated funds in relation to performance and player progression from academy.
Make a path way for success for players and coaching staff, no more turning out professionals turn out champions from the academy quality rather than quantity

Load of nonsense. Were it that easy United would have done it five years ago.

The football is horrific, that was like a non league game, awful. We are getting worse and worse, sooner they sack this idiot the better. Get rid of him ASAP.

I can't stand the guy, I like nothing about him, he has no personality at all, he is like a android, he is so robotic, I don't think he is even human, he sounds and looks like a android. Despicable entity.

Emery should never be shown in the history of our club, should be erased, it makes me sick we have a vile android like this at our club, he knows nothing about us.
