Arsenal have beaten Liverpool to the signing of Finland Under 19 goalkeeper Hugo Keto.

The 18-year-old passed a medical this week and has signed a three-year deal with the Gunners.

Keto was a boyhood Liverpool fan and was on trial with the club last season.

The 6ft 3in goalkeeper also spent time with Arsenal and has chosen to sign for the London club.

Keto is expected to join the club's youth setup to begin with, although Arsene Wenger will hope he can provide competition for first choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny in time.

Also this should prove that any player who supports a certain club won't necessarily go there.

Pointless anti Wenger jibe, yet again.

Because Wenger has no idea of how transfers work, and the technicalities and side deals that are in effect precursors for others, but yet you do.

Back on topic.

6.3 at 18, this boys still got some growing to do, he'll be a giant

Until Wenger starts signing players who have finished puberty and have some sort of recognition as a good football player, I don't think you should be shutting people down for jibes at Wenger right now.

When he finally makes a signing of worth we'll all shut up, remember the Window is actually live right now, clocks ticking.

I was expecting some "that's our second goalkeeper" comments. I'm disappointed

Lol ok.

Knickers in a twist cos of a little jibe at your beloved Wenger.

Some friendly advice, grow a spine and suck it up cos if you can't hack Wenger being criticised then this isn't the place for you.

The clubs, fans and players beloved Wenger you mean.

Keep your friendly advice to yourself. Its not served your very well on GW lately has it.

I expect Wenger to be criticized, and i even lead it on occasions, but if its unfounded it just comes across one looking like a tool with an pathetic agenda.
