The way this club has been playing/manipulating fan angst/turmoil in past years, who would actually rule out us winning the EL only for them to reverse this decision?

But think about it, you know an EL trophy would be treated with a euphoric reception by this fan base. CL football again. Wenger himself didn't want to actually leave....is it really unthinkable they go back on their word?

What about him always honoring his contracts?
He hasn't stepped down, he has been sacked. Resign, or get fired he was probably told.

Regardless, felt a little emotional, but finally it has happened. Let's start our upward rise now, starting with winning the EL and qualifying for next year's CL.
