It would be awesome if we were rid of Kroenke though - as long as he gets rid of Wenger at least. Wenger's had too many chances to change as it is and it never happens.

I can't help, but think that Usmanov is hoping that fan protests will force Kroenke out as happened at Liverpool, and that's why we're hearing about it now, a month after the initial bid.

Also interesting timing with it leaking right before the Everton game...

If he does.....then he is an idiot. Arsenal fans are very different from liverpool fans. Fans would nevee protest in large numbers.

If this take over issue becomes on going.....forget any summer signings cause wenger will be very involved in fighting kroenkes corner.

Future still looks very bleak

The dictator ready to stay another 2 years and Kroenke adamant he's not selling to Usmanov. :( :(

We're still on the path to Nottingham Forest status.

There is ownership fight, wenger and gazidis fighting, jonker has left so no one is truly in charge of the youth department with experience. Our best players dont want to stay and we miss out on CL

Everyone knows my opinion on Wenger but even I agree that this is all getting a bit lame. Wenger and kroenke need to change the narrative and mood around the club. Keep our best players, sign a few more and go for gold. Anything short of that will be a massive disappointment. I hope they recognize how disappointed everyone is. Time has run out.

:

There's literally no reason for Wenger to stay on at this point. He won't
- his top 4 streak has ended
- he won't have enough time to build a new squad
- the pressure from fans and board would be unbearable
- the rivals have more resources and are getting stronger each year

Wenger is no fool. He will not stay.
