I like your thinking! Though that will only strip his accomplishments away from the positive end of the spectrum, nothing can take the massive defeats away from him.

As much i want Wenger to go i would still say he leaves when he wants. He has earned that.

Period.

He has earned a very good wage as arsenal manager
He probably earned the right to put things right after failing to win the title in 2008 on his previous record
That right should have been rescinded in October 2011 after he waited until we had dropped 8 points before entering the transfermarket
Following what amounted to half a season in relegation form back end of 10/11 and start of 11/12 he should have been sacked then
This aint a sentimental movie
Go watch ghost if you want that
It's a hard nosed trophy gobbling business that we are in and there is no business like it
Get someone in who wants to take care of business not live in heartbreak hotel

I bet if we’d sacked wenger in the sumner and brought in a big name replacement alexis and ozil would have extended their deals there and then.

Maybe if investments were made along with the manager.

WENGER OUT

Postby Arsenal Tone » Sun Jan 14, 2018 2:34 pm

Wenger will see out his contract. He always does.

Knowing the club, they’ll probably give him a place on the board and let him pick his successor too :banghead:

Looking at the starting line up today, I couldn't help but wonder what the hell happened to this club. What a poor lineup of average players, playing boring football. All Wenger's work....bravo, he's a legend! At least, he always respect his contract, right?

Even the powers that be if they want to run shit on a tight budget must see they can get someone better to do that job, what wenger is doing is bad for business.
