Announced in the press today that Freddie is to be honoured by English Heritage with a blue plaque, which will be fixed to the wall of the house he lived in during his teenage years.

For anyone who doesn't know, this is a very significant honour which is usually reserved only for people who have made an exceptional contribution to English culture, science or politics. It puts Freddie alongside composers like Elgar and engineers like Brunel.
