coheed and cambria

Postby ozgooner » Mon Mar 31, 2008 8:51 pm

not sure how many of you will give a hoot (i can count on me mate G.E.S. though) but i went to see one of my favourite bands , coheed and cambria on sunday night . it was f%%king awesome , they played at the tivoli which is an old theatre . so you know the acoustics are spot on . there was only about 2000 people there and we had a prime spot on the balcony straight in front of stage . the gig started at 7:00 pm and when me and a mate rocked up at 3:00 pm to go to the pub near the gig people were already lined up . so we goes to the pub and has a few more than a few beers and a feed . we are walkin back to the gig at 7:00 and now the line is around the corner , so we walk straight to the front of the line and this little bitch screams at me the back of the line is that way and that who do i think i am and that they have been lined up for 4 hours . i said are you finished yet , while you were sitting here for 4 hours i was sittin at the pub and relaxing with a few beers and i was only here to pick up my tickets from the foyer . you should have seen the look on her face when i strolled into the foyer as soon as the doors were opened , picked up me tickets and was about the tenth person in :sneaky2:
so the gig was brilliant and they played all my favourites including coming home , running free , radio bye bye , the suffering and a great cover of iron maidens the trooper . many thanks to good eye sniper for introducing me to this fantastic band

They covered The Trooper when I saw them

Did they play The Crowing? That's probably my favourite song of all time :cloud9:

I was blasting out "Everything Evil" on the way home in the car tonight. 8)

Not wishing to blow one's own trumpet, but when you're a singer, singing along to stuff is SO much fun  :sundae:

Imagine this -

On Guitar Hero  :P

It would be CRIMINAL not to!!

(By the way, that's not me on the clip, I'm WAY better than that :P )

Cut and paste this link for a better Guitar Hero possibility by Coheed -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n27wBZkP ... re=related

(The YouTube function appears not to be working for this link. How annoying :shifty: )
