I've done it again.

In what sense?

Just googled it, the reviews aren't out and obviously sale figures won't be available for at least a week.

It was a while back, probably in the last 6 months iirc.

I can understand you saying you prefer other rappers, we've all got our likes but do not under any circumstance involve yourself in the rap game while dissing one of, if not the greatest rap artist since the genre came to life.

He probably said it to get publicity but some things just aren't done.

That is not proper platinum.

Clicked the article and the lead single which is driving the sales has been out since September.

This is all due to album-equivalent numbers, which has to do with streaming and song downloads.

Basically if that song was a massive hit, which I guess it is, and was downloaded or streamed x amount of times it counts towards the total sales of the album as a whole.

Kind of confusing, but the point is he has not sold a million copies of his album in one day.

That would be by far the fastest selling album in history, and it obviously isn't.

Adele's album 25 which had 'Hello' on it sold 1.1. million copies in a week which is the record.

These are the numbers form his first album -

Stoney debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200 with 58,000 album-equivalent units, of which 19,000 were pure album sales

Pure album sales vs album equivalent
