Thanks Apollo
I don't know how to post videos
My god listening to those tracks back to back show how fantastic music can be
From the mordant fatalism of Peggy lees take on. Lieber and stoller
To that opening riff from Nina Simone that reminds me of walking up chapel market having just brought my 1st mod suit after hearing it blasting out of a record store to the pure joy of lady Ella flawlessly writing a postcard to the big apple
I love my rock music and it almost feels sacrilegious not to include a kinks track but if it came down to being stranded I would want a girl in my ear to keep me in check
Amy winehouse would not be out of place in this company
As a lifelong music fan I can pay no greater compliment

I couldn't choose three.

Wouldn't need to choose really because it stays in your head, and nothing and nobody can take it away from you.

My nan now has advanced stages of dementia and cant remember what she had for lunch. But put on Elvis and she knows every word. That's the power of music.

I've chosen the following simply because they're the only songs I wouldn't be able to replicate in my head:

planet caravan - black sabbath
shine on you crazy diamond (all parts) - pink floyd
little black submarines - the black keys

struggled for a third, not my 3rd favourite song but would want something a bit more upbeat than the other two

will take a listen to all others when i have good internet !

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars

I will never get bored of this song. Some absolutely stunning covers around too.

Death Cab for Cutie - I will follow you into the dark

Absolutely adore this song. I want to get a tattoo of some of the lyrics. Loving someone so much that you cannot possibly live without them? Amazing.

Vienna - Billy Joel

I don't know why. It's a song that's always resonated with me and I never get bored of it.

Perfect alarm clock.
