Top band of their era. Can't recall the lead singer's name but a fellow i know crossed paths with him in NYC a few years ago and said Hi and the dude told him to f**k off and die! :rofll:

Michael Stipe.

He's suffered with mental health issues at times. He's also vehemently anti-gun and left wing in his views - so if your mate was wearing a Trump hat that's probably why.

LOL...nope it was like a decade ago and the guy is a weird mix of inner city liberal and country hick!
What would Nasri do? Never mind.
What would Eboue do? Fall off the stretcher.
What would Auba do? Just f***ing score.

I saw him on this tour. Blew. My. Mind.

LOVED his first four albums. Far Better than singer than Jacko.

combining blues funk, soul, rock . Even if he had an ego. He backed it up with the work imo.

It doesn't quite warrant a place in the covers that were better thread but they give it a damn good go

Tin machine had a crack at it on there 2nd album
Crimes against music is probably a bit harsh but david and co really do not trouble the scorer

I like the early Roxy Music stuff. Not such a fan of the later stuff or Ferry on his own - although he was still a real style icon in the early 80s. I think some guy in the 70s described him as an example of living art.

Great times for music. Bowie, Roxy Music, T Rex, Thin Lizzy, Free, early Elton John, early Rod Stewart...

All the girls loved David Cassidy, the Osmonds and David Essex.

Dick Emery! I loved the randy old dear with the glasses.

You guys sure love your old school music but I can't blame you, the new stuff since 2003 has mainly been utter sh*te and unlistenable.

A lot of younger people think we just hate their music simply because we're being old, but if that was the case how come a majority of people like music from the 60's - late 90's, even 2000's.

Music in the 60's is completely different to 90's music, style, sound everything, the only similarity is originality and musical talent.
