In short, your link always needs to start with
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= and end with your video ID.
Every YouTube video has a unique ID, which can be found back in the link. In this example the video ID is
yHmY7IRnDx8.
If you've done all the above and you're still unable to embed your url, it's because the uploader has disabled embedding.
