Good line up this year for the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall.

The Who
Noel Gallagher (two nights)
The Specials
Arctic Monkeys
Depeche Mode
Suede

And a comedy night featuring Noel Fielding and Jimmy Carr

Im going to both Noel's shows (obviously.) I would have also gone to the Who gig but they are performing Qudrophenia rather than a normal show so i cant be arsed. I'm tempted to also go the Suede show

Oasisinet is excited to confirm that Noel will be joined on stage next week by Crouch End Festival Chorus and Wired Strings at his two headlining slots at the Teenage Cancer Trust benefit performances.

Wired Strings previously appeared at Noel's 2007 TCT appearance and can be heard on his release, 'The Dreams We Have As Children'. Crouch End Festival Chorus have also performed with Noel before when Oasis headlined the BBC Electric Proms in 2008 at The Roundhouse in London.

Wow. Amazing set list. Almost everything I would have chosen if I had the choice.

He played old B sides including Rockin Chair, Talk Tonight, Good To Be Free, and, and , and...He played Sad Song Ive wanted for years to hear it live.... a rare song which was only released as a bonus track on Vinyl in this country.

Very special gigs. Both nights were great, the atmosphere was better the first night...like a football crowd, every word sung to even the more obscure tunes.

The second night had better sound quality as they had fixed a few issues they had the previous night and the sound, choir and string musicians were superb.
