After reading the Russell Brand thread it got me thinking who are my top 5 comedians, but i can't think of my top 5 yet.

4. Peter Cook
5. Jimmy Carr

I love mock the week it's great, go on youtube they got loads of 10/15 minute clips! great suff.

there names are Dara, Hugh, Frankie, Andy and Russell ;)

Aren't Martin Lawrence and Will Ferrell comedy actors, or have they done stand up too?
I think we should draw a line here otherwise we could end up with all kinds of comedy actors like Jim Carrey etc. and that's another thread imo.
This thread should really be about stand up comedians, or comedians who have their own comedy show I reckon.

I don't...yet. It's one that I want tho & perhaps the Black Books box set if such a thing were to exist.

I'm not a huge fan of comedians in general :0 Don't like staged comedy. I'd rather laugh at someone during regular conversation rather than having someone try to make me laugh.

Brian Regan is the one guy that can successfully made me laugh regularly.
