Just watched a couple of vids and it looks as good as the old stuff. :D

I am just apprehensive which is why I am not thinking too much about it, I don't want to be disappointed.

This... I can't really remember anything about series 7 and onwards, just that I really didn't take to them. I'll still give series 10 a go, just not expecting much.

As much as I didn't like series 7 and 8 as it was a bit too 'high tech' for Red Dwarf, one of my fave story lines is from the seventh series. 'Tikka to ride'. When they get JFK to be a second gunman and shoot himself. :D

They said they are going to explain the end of series 8 over the course of a few episodes instead of concentrating on it and wasting an episode. It's also part of the reason they skipped series 9.

Loved it!

It seemed like Rimmer was struggling to play his character as well though.

I missed it! I thought I had it recorded but it clashed with another program.

I'm guessing it will be repeated through the week on dave.

I read that this was the worst episode of the series so a lot to look forward to. I was loving the bit about the moose.

Missed it

What's this about skipping series 9 Yorky? This is how out of touch I am. I remember the higher budget ruining series 7 and 8, but that's about it.

They didn't want to waste an episode having to explain the end of series 8 when they all died.

They decided to start at series 10 and said throughout the series they will explain it in different parts.

Sounds clever... can't even remember the end of series 8.

Last memorable episode I remember was them accidently time travelling. Rimmer was wearing a gold uniform, they were all smug, and Lister was a brain in a jar!!!
