Yeah Lagatha’s funeral but Bjorns end was a bit too arty and surreal.

It just felt like S6 was written by someone else.

Tony Stark :crybaby:

Seen that scene so many times. Cry every time. The music in that scene I want in my funeral. Would be the first Muslim funeral with music but someone got to do it.

I do remember she was surrounded by Harold, Paul and Tad on her bed. Don't remember the funeral though. Was sad though. Absolute legend. Everybody needs good neighbours.

Well the thing is the Viking age is coming to an end and the world is changing.

I was interested in the Kievan Rus as powerful Kingdoms are becoming consolidated in this era and its putting pressure on the Vikings way of life, the Franks, Kievans, Abbasid Caliphate are swallowing more and more lands so as shown in season 5, Bjorn was lucky to get out of the Mediterranian alive.

Christianity is becoming a greater force and the Vikings are the last of the Pagans in the Germanic world, Charlemagne already crushed the Saxons of Germany into submission to convert ............ the Vikings are the last of the Mohicans so to speak.

In the last part of Season 6 its going to be about the Vikings last stand before being wiped out and absorbed into Christendom and the it'll see the rise of new Warriors who usurp the Vikings as the no1 warriors in Europe ............. and that's the Knights and Men-at-arms which are on their way.

Bishop Hedman from season 4/5 was a sign of things to come, religious fanatic Christian Warriors which led to the Crusades are not the meek Christian soldiers of the older Saxon and Frankish years.

........... all very interesting for someone like myself who studies history.

I knew you were going to say that, tbf that's what came to my mind, Stark and Lagertha have had the two best funeral scenes so I have to agree.

James bond film release has been put back cos of the Corona virus. Better not do that with black widow. We'd all rather be infected and watch it than not watch and not be infected

@Rockape, have you watched The Expanse on Amazon Prime? Imo it's one of the best shows on there and is a great sci-fi series to boot.

Wait until your kids graduate to Teen Titans Go! and the rebooted The Powerpuff Girls.

Both are so much worse than the originals :BangHead:

I used to sit down with my kids when they were little and watch their programmes.

Sometimes they’d go outside and my wife would come home to find me watching Goosebumps on my own.

A few episodes in with Delhi Crime on Netflix

It's about the gang rape back in 2012. I remember faintly hearing about it when the protests were happening. Amazing how depraved some people can be.

Yeah, its people like that, that bring out the medieval in me.

Some people are just a waste of air and need cancelling, thing is as well its not some preference or bias I have, these people are a legitimate threat.

I don't think people in the West realise how bad it is out there in South Asia, there are some top arseholes out there.

I remember seeing a gang of Indians on Youtube in Singapore hunting these guys down who were just standing outside of a shop hanging out and the 2 cars pulled up and they got these guys, one of them got pinned down and they hacked him up with machetes over and over for like a minute or more.

By the end of it his arm was hanging off and the final hit was straight down full force onto his head ......... like they hadn't done enough damage already, he then slumped to the floor and I'm assuming died.

One of the sickest things I've seen, a lot worse than some stab and run they do in London.
