Because the whole point of the books was that rulers who don’t give a crap about their people make shitty leaders, and they picked the one person who actually is incapable of giving a shite about anyone else. Which led to the first joke of a council meeting that the show ended with.

Have not read the book so I guess I didn't feel that disappointment.

Bran is certainly pro peace though as he doesn't covet anything, he'll also rule wisely.

It's not just the ending, it's pretty much everything past season 4.

The first four seasons were 100% book material with slight omissions. After that it becomes shitty fan fiction. The quality drop in writing is glaring.

.............. again, I never read the books so wouldn't of known either way, maybe that helped save the enjoyment for me as if you don't know any better than you can't be let down.

Because they crammed in 3 seasons worth of story into about 3 episodes. Resulting in a complete loss of subtlety and nuance in the plot and no chance at character development. Things just happened because they did, even if it made no sense

Not the best of seasons but nowhere near as bad as it's made out to be. Quite liked it tbh but the standard in previous was ridiculously high and they f***ked up going only 6 episodes

Nevertheless great last episode

GoT wrtiters stand down from doing Star Wars.

Absolute c****. That was stated as the reason they felt they had to rush the last season of GoT so they can work on Star Wars but now they aren't even doing that.

Do you know if they are talking about starting to film, or have they already started that?
